Let’s talk sports

Doing sports is really really important, right? So, why is it that we just find it so hard to overcome our weaker self and finally start working out? I guess the answer is pretty easy: it’s simply damn exhausting. A couple of days ago, I read an article about the best way to force yourself to do sports. And believe it or not, the key to success is not running to the gym like a maniac but rather finding out what sport you really LIKE. So, before you actually sign up for all sorts of Yoga and Pilates classes you should probably ask yourself: Am I really into this stuff? Seriously, why should you force yourself to go jogging three times a week when you hate it with a passion? If you’d rather go swimming, boxing orAdancing why not give it a try? After all, what matters most is that we do some kind of sports. Even if you watch your diet you can’t afford to just sit on the couch all day long. Well, yes okay, there are some lucky ones who actually can afford to do so, but let’s face it, they are clearly in a minority. Moreover, it’s not only aboutAlooking good, but also about staying healthy.

Here are some disciplines you might haven’t thought of trying but which could be great fun!

Anti gravity yoga

Slackline

Everybody who has ever tried slacklining before can tell how much fun it is. It’s the ideal sports for every garden party and it’s more effective than you might think! When balancing on the rope you need to engage all your muscles which turns this exercise into a full body workout. Another nice feature is that your posture will be improved and compared to other sports it’s very much affordable 😉
